H.R. 193 Seeks To Get U.S. Out!
Celebrations are in order! Representative Mike Rogers (R-Ala.) has once again introduced the “American Sovereignty Restoration Act” to get the U.S. out of the UN. With the incoming presidential administration lined up as anti-establishment and anti-globalist, now is the best chance we have ever had to get out of the United Nations. Our relentless push to Get US Out! of the UN started in 1962, and members and supporters have not let up in educating others on the anti-American agenda of the U.N.
The decades of diligent work resulted in a growing influence of this project. Recently, many politicians have jumped on board to further raise awareness. This past year, Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) was inspired by “Brexit,” the vote in Britain to exit the European Union, to coin the term “Amexit” for the United States to exit the United Nations. Furthermore, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has spoken out against funding the United Nations, Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) voiced his opinion against the organization, and former Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) has promoted Amexit. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has also publicized his opposition to the United Nations and believes that the United Nations will continue to be a main topic of discussion in Congress.
Many still believe the façade that the United Nations was created to promote peace, when in fact it is merely a tool for world government. It has involved the U.S. in various unnecessary wars, worked to change our laws, threatened the very existence of the U.S. Constitution and Declaration of Independence, and undermined our sovereignty. H.R. 193 seeks to revoke U.S. membership in the UN, the UN Participation Act of 1945, the United Nations Headquarters Agreement Act, end all funds being transferred to the UN, and terminate UN peacekeeping operations. Now is the time to drive this movement to the next level and make it a reality.
Call and email your representative (202-225-3121) and ask him or her to cosponsor H.R. 193. Call and email your senators, (202-224-3121) and ask them to introduce and cosponsor a companion bill for H.R. 193 in the Senate. Ask both your representative and senators to go on to work for passage of the bill. Continue to educate opinion molders in your area to keep the momentum going. Let’s seize this opportunity to finally Get US Out! of the UN!
