At first I looked at the stages of grief with them as a kind of joke lol. But some of them really do need to get to acceptance.

I don't understand how you can lose sight of the fact it's part of our system---sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. At the end of the day, it's just four years and if it's that important to you then do something about it. Become active in your local precinct or whatever.

But the outrage thing is non-productive. The marches are fine but it needs to have a focus or a point beyond 'Trump sucks' or he's a Russian plant etc. Otherwise people will lose interest in it, and worse yet, it's going to be perceived as a gathering of the unhinged.

I mean $5 for coffee that's burnt. You know your average gas station/convenience had better coffee than Starbucks. I can get a fresh, perfectly roasted, flavorful coffee with a nutty taste and aroma that is outstanding for a $1.25 at Dunkin Doughnuts.

I'll give it to the burnt coffee guy...he's a marketing genius. It just aggravates me that people can be that dumb and vain. It's a crock of poo.

I mean inaugurations come and go. A few people get unhappy, a few get peppered spray'd and a limo or two might get torched but by and large most people have fun and enjoy themselves. Who cares?!

They have a Starbucks at the hospital where I work so I get it for free lol. Just the coffee, I have to pay for the fancy drinks but I don't care much for them so yeah.

I drink it everyday and wouldn't think of trashing the place even though Starbucks is quite the liberal corporation.

They are not on every corner around here. I lived a couple of blocks from a Dunkin Doughnut when I was in college. Learned about their coffee back then. They have always had good coffee. Then again, most doughnut shops do.
