Here are 6 reasons why Trump’s wall is dumber than most of his other ideas

And the ultimate irony is Reich is a Bernie backer and Krugman called Bernie's economics essentially stuff of dreamers and not real world. You still willing to blow Krugman?

I don't support the building of the wall. But Reich had shown many times he's willing to put his partisan beliefs about econonic fact so yeah I'll say pot meets kettle when he does so. I'm sorry that offends you.

Do you favor continuing your home town sanctuary status??

3. There’s no way Mexico will pay for it. On January 11, Mexican President Enrique Peña assured Mexicans they would not be footing the bill. “It is evident that we have some differences with the new government of the United States,” he said, “like the topic of the wall, that Mexico of course will not pay.”

I think Trump actually can make Mexico pay for it...kind of. I don't think he needs Congressional approval to tax wire transfers from here to Mexico and Mexico relies on those quite a bit from what I've been reading. It's not technically making Mexico pay but Mexicans would be paying.

I have no idea how much money that would put towards his fence, you??

Do you think they would just find some other way to get the money down there??

Our southern border needs to be secured. It's wide open to ISIS and terrorists.

Yea, after all the isis terrorist that have come here via the southern boarder. already.

More likely they be murdered or held for ransom in TJ or Juarez.....lol

IMHO the boarder is pretty secure, the problem is the incentives "AMERICANS" give them to come here seeking "asylum & jobs".............

I'll have to look it up to be sure but a few years ago wire transfers from illegals in the US to their families in Mexico amounted to about 8% of their economy. That's enough to pay for the wall if that ratio still stands.

Right now the gop is committing American tax payers to pay for it while they try to figure a way to get someone else to reimburse them...

You know much of the terrain is very remote & rugged.. Many of those living along the boarder are complaining that the inter-structure needed to build the fence will also be used by the very folks they are trying to keep out...:dunno:
