Why Trump Won

"I did no such thing. It was your false premise that Hillary "winning" the popular vote carried some sort of weight (or extra meaning to it) that I was attacking." b3 #57

The opposite is true.
I observe that due to the electoral college, winning the popular vote does NOT. The "some sort of weight" verbiage you have introduced here is entirely your own.

" it was relevant why Republicans didn't "run" a candidate in California's U.S. Senate general election." b3 #57

I'll quote your words from post #50:

""Both U.S. Senate candidates were Democrat, which massively dispirited California Republicans" b3 #18" #50

This sentence presents cause and effect:

- The cause: "Both U.S. Senate candidates were Democrat" your EXACT words.

- The effect: "which massively dispirited California Republicans" b3 #18

Not sure what you hope to accomplish by backpedaling.
If you wish to revise or clarify your position, be my guest.

But please do not deny the literal meaning of the words you posted, which I've now quoted multiple times.

Perhaps you should learn that persons of integrity say what they mean, and mean what they say.

Your argument isn't with me. Your argument is with YOU.
What a bunch of blather. You felt compelled to say, in a thread titled, "Why Trump Won":
the fact remains Trump lost the vote by millions of ballots.
The logical inference is that you find that fact to be important or meaningful by stating it almost randomly. I have consistently attacked the compulsion of people who bring up, and thus attach some level of importance to, the popular vote tally. And I've already explained to you why: Trump ran an electoral campaign because that is how you win the presidency. The outcome of the popular vote tally is irrelevant, and it would've been vastly different had Trump run a popular vote campaign with every voter knowing in advance that each person's vote would count equally across all state lines.

How SPECTACULARLY absurd !!
I've already used the term "electoral college" numerous times. So a more than 3:1 ballot disparity could not POSSIBLY exist if it was " requirement under the Constitution of all votes having equal "vote power"" (your precise wording).

So in fact:

a) I NEVER stated it.

b) I NEVER implied it.

c) To the contrary, I've observed by acknowledging the disparity that there is not.

Yet you invent this transcendent absurdity; and then you have the temerity to attribute it to me ?!?!

Are you perhaps suffering medication issues your parole officer should discuss?

Well, we will have to agree to disagree because I think she addressed the issue on the ocassions I heard her speak. I thought she was far more detailed than Trump ever was.

She definitely offered more detail - I just think it wasn't a honed message. But my thinking might just be colored by how ticked I am that Trump is taking the oath tomorrow. I don't discount what you're saying, and you might have seen more of it than I did (I tended to watch more news than anything, and not whole rallies).

Nope not sufferin' at all scorch.

You whined about the intentional unequal "vote power" created by design in the structure of this Republic to diversify power and aid stability, 'cause yer butt hurt about the Dumpster's electoral win.

N' you have an upside down theory that POTUSs elected via the electoral college that lose the popular vote are terrible 'cause ya don't like George W Bush, (ya didn't mention Hayes, Harrison or Adams).

This prominent unequal "vote power" feature is in both the foundation of the Senate and the electoral college, and is one of the primary reasons this Republic is both diverse and stable.

The only reason yer bringin' this up is ya suffer from a severe case of TARD, n' prolly poor brain function, n' yer a selfish moon bat willin' to blow up the best Republic the world has ever seen 'cause yer a sore loser.

burp...

"TARD" is already extremely boring.

Do righties not realize how much they whined about Obama for nearly a decade? Seriously?

I have no recollection of Bush Sr., since I was not yet seven when he left office. As such, my entire political life has basically consisted of this: People endlessly whining about Bill Clinton, followed by people endlessly whining about Bush, followed by people endlessly whining about Obama. There were also some silly primary seasons thrown in for good measure. This last one pissed me off, but, at least I enjoyed the Dean campaign of 2004.

Why are normal human beings commenting on national suicide 'whining'? Some are laughing, I suppose, especially Russians, but many of us simply regret your going gaga so early.
I meant that they are still whining about Obama. I feel electing Trump is gaga.

Waving goodbye is not whining. Refusing to accept the election results of the newly elected President is whining and a threat to our democracy.

"You whined about the intentional unequal "vote power" created by design in the structure of this Republic" OR #106

Which has absolute ZERO to do with:
"requirement under the Constitution of all votes having equal "vote power", (that is jus' something a TARD infected sore loser moon bat like you made up)." OR #100

Now if you say"
"(that is jus' something a TARD infected sore loser moon bat like you made up)"

I'll meet you half way on it.

If you say it's "jus' something a TARD infected sore loser moon bat ... made up" I'll accept your inestimable expertise on such authorship.

BUT !!

Y O U !! are the one that made it up. I had no creative contribution to its conception. It's 100% you, Mr. or Ms. " TARD infected sore loser moon bat ".

Enjoy the inauguration.

What are you talking about? Who got the bigger vote?

Hillary said not accepting the election results would be a threat to our democracy. You asked, what democracy, and stated she won the popular vote.

Do you think Hillary got skunked so bad because she thought America was a democracy and she would win the presidency with the popular vote?

In radio interview this AM William F. Buckley Jr.'s son called President GHWB one of the last surviving gentlemen.

Presidents tend to avoid comedy, except at the Washington Correspondent's Dinner.

BUT !!

If you ever have an opportunity to hear GHWB's broccoli speech, give it a shot. I believe it's some of his best material, and provides a glimpse into the Bush family patriarch's more human side.

Catch it in audio / video if you can.
But if you can not; a text transcript may be better than nothing.

You admitted havin' a case of TARD, (which you do).

I don't find TARD 'boring' I find it childish, destructive and counter-productive, (the way the Liberal/Progressive/Marxist/Statist/Fascist babies act when they lose).

Oh...so you don't remember how righties were over the last 8 years? At all?

How unsurprising.
