a) Obama's been a fairly successful president.

b) Obama's the first U.S. president in decades to get through his term without a significant scandal.

c) Reagan, the Republican demigod, set the standard of such evaluation as: "Are you better off ...?"

Under Bush (younger) we were not.

Under Obama (darker) we are.

If you don't like the Reagan standard, get a better demigod.

a) By what standard? Is the country better off with a record number of over 45 million on food stamps? No. Is the Democrat party better of as a whole since he's been President? No. While President, Democrats lost over 1000 seats in state and federal government from U.S. Congress, State legislatures, and as governor.

b) Or is that you lefties refused to acknowledge them.
