He's won every war so far. He'll bring the press down to his level, like he's done with all his other opponents, then crush them. I don't like him but I have a grudging admiration .
Hopefully that does not happen.........
His opponents/rivals thus far have been individuals~the media is an institution, an independent one (supposedly)........ While we all bitch they are on one side or the other, none of them (thus far)are on his side, except maybe the silent tabloids/trashloids..

Exactly not like that. Real news. Real journalism. Real journalists if they even exist even more. Our media is doing no one any favors reporting on things they have not verified. It might be all right if the viewers were intelligent enough to make the distinction. Unfortunately that intelligence seems to have gone the way of real journalists. Far and few between.
W/ the well paying advent of entertainers/pundits things have gotten distorted, & most certainly don has taken full advantage of that...
We (hopefully) have taught our children to be discerning~that shouldn't be much to ask for adults....
Those that are not are usually in a tizzy about this or that, until tomorrow when some other poutrage comes along & captures them for the news cycle....
