he appoints a Secretary of State friendly with Russia, a Secretary of Defense who is already meeting with Russia, he has spent months talking up Putin as a just another good ole boy, and he has hinted problems with maintaining current level of relations with NATO.

And all of this comes after it was established Russia orchestrated an effort thru it's spy services to get Trump elected President, if one was a conservative conspiracy fanatic, as most conservatives are, it all raises a lot of questions, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, ............

False equivalency, the six major leaders in the world got rid of the Iranian sanctions, the US being one player, and Pufin won't be chanting, he'll be laughing, and send the Donald his next demand

Trump may disagree with Mattis, I don't know. But the former thinks Islamic terrorism is the biggest national security threat. And Trump thinks we can partner with Putin against that threat.

If Obama doesn't start WWIII before Friday.

Like going into Syria pretending to attack ISIS and rather bombing the rebels including the Kurds?

He's going to just forget American policy of the last sixty years, sanctions supported by both parties since Reagan, to possibly get Russia to actually fight ISIS, an ISIS currently fading without Russia's involvement?

And that sounds pragmatic to ypu?

if it gets to that point, you basically have detente. Lifting sanctions would be in order.
Sanctions only hurt Russia's economy -they are not changing Putin's behavior.

The international sanctions were lifted upon our lead.

Wonder if they lift the sanctions if we can finally get some real Vodka over in the states. Always a silver lining......
