Two reasons are possible.

1. The Russian hackers want to add credibility to their hacks and thus overturn the election and get Hillary elected.
2. The Russians didn't do it as it was done by some American entity that wants Clinton elected.

There's no constitutional remedy to over turn the election at this point. And they can't impeach Trump unless they can prove he colluded with Russia. I'm sure they're trying to, as we speak, but that's pissing into the wind. Even they know that, but they'll look anyway. Don't be surprised if they come up with an evidence-less document that attests to Trump/Putin collusion---the media already lowered their standards so they would run with it.

What they CAN do is cripple Trump and/or demoralize his deplorables.

But the Deplorables aren't buying any of it. We're in for a fight the next four years.
