"The head of the federal Office of Government Ethics on Wednesday denounced President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to separate the presidency from his business empire as “wholly inadequate” and said it does not meet the standards met by the “best of his nominees.”

“The ethics program starts at the top,” Director Walter Shaub said at a Brookings Institution forum in Washington. “We can’t risk creating the perception that government officials will use their positions for personal profit.”

"House Republicans reacted swiftly, summoning Shaub to appear before the Oversight and Government Reform Committee to answer questions about his office and his public criticism of Trump."

"By late Thursday, Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) had sent Shaub a letter summoning him to appear before lawmakers in a closed-door"

Who would have ever thought America cold come to this?? :palm:

“We can’t risk creating the perception that government officials will use their positions for personal profit.” = Clintons

Ethical behavior from Trump -but rapaciuos pay forplay by Clinton -who REALLY DID GET RICH off her connections -while using the Clinton Foundation as a transportation/expense account trust fund??.....

Anyways..it's EZ for pinheads to say "divest"and "blind trust" when in fact that wouldbe a significant financial penalty forTrump for WINNING an election.

Nelson Rockefeller ( the closest ex. we have) wasn't forced to divest/blind trust.

There was a very good ethics presentation yesterday before the Trump press conference .
Id suggest those thoughtful / workable bow to ethics ( as in conflicts ofinterst) be studied before the pinheads are listened to

He bitch slapped CNN into shame and sorrow for airing horseshit. Let's write mountains about ulterior motives.
