If you feel that way, then why all the bitching about Streep? If celebrities are as inconsequential as you say, then her speech would have been just a routine, minor blip on the news cycle radar, and the vast majority of Trump chumps (supporters) wouldn't have cared less.

That is exactly what it was to me. Just like when a celebrity endorses someone. Time to change the station or channel.

3) She was right - it does filter down. This is the person who is setting the tone for America now. This is our role model.
4) Trump lost the popular vote. America isn't turning their backs on this. Even Republicans were horrified when Trump did that.

He never mocked the disability. He was mocking the question, and Trump's impersonation of people is always the same. This myth has been debunked time and time again.

Then why post here at all, given that the author of this thread and the like minded are all up in arms? When I feel about a topic as you claim to feel about this one, I just don't post on it.
