This new poll has all kinds of bad news for Donald Trump

Until 2020, the polls wont matter much, except this...

If DJ appears weak and unpopular he will have a harder time getting his Republican party mates in the Congress to pass his agenda.

Based on these poll numbers I believe, for example, the Republican will refuse to confirm at least one of his Cabinet picks. To show their muscle and to tell him he must play ball with them. If Trump were popular with the people, they would not dare do this.

The polls will matter in how much of his agenda DJT can get accomplished. Congressmen in districts where Trump is unpopular... their are lots of them, will need to go home and say... Vote for me, I am essential to holding Trump back.

28 percent say they feel worse about Trump since Election Day

this number will just grow

he will refuse to out his information and separate himself from his business

then pense will be president

then even fox wont be able to make people like pense

Right...I look for everyone of the those 25 senators trying to hold onto their seats in TRUMPLAND to reject Mr. Trumps picks with the midterms coming up. LMAO

All your opinions and predictions have been so spot on. The reality: You know the demwits are in trouble when they begin hoping for GOP help with anything. Priceless. What you are watching on tv right now is nothing but left wing BLOVIATION...in the attempt to feel self important. Did you not notice the actual vote the other day? GOP 51 Demwits 48....all in lockstep and towing the political line, with the exception of Rand Paul who would never ever side with any democrat plan, it was just for show...a line that Dirty Hairy made simple with a mere 50 + 1 conformation process. Thanks Harry.

Trumps picks will be FORCED down demwit throats, just like Obama care was forced upon THE PEOPLE.

I did not predict that 25 senators would reject Mr. Trumps picks. Why are you so insecure you feel the need to lie?

But they turned out to be useless with respect to electoral politics. At best, the polls were a gauge of what was going on in urban precincts.

The larger point was how badly they were interpreted by the bulk of the media. A one in three chance is a one in three chance. But you would have thought Hillary was a slam dunk based on the reporting.

Why do you suppose that was?

Comey changed the dynamic at the end. There is no denying that. Without the Comey letter, Hillary would have coasted - most of the media were in that mindset.

But getting back to the original point - the polls weren't way off or anything. Which is why Trumpsters should take this incredibly low approval rating somewhat seriously. It's not likely to improve, and will impact his ability to get things done.

My guess is that at least one of Trumps picks will not make it out of committee because one Republican joins the Democrats in voting no. Its likely to be Rubio regarding Rex Tillerson.

I call this a guess, because I don't feel strongly about this, it very likely might not happen, but forced to guess that is my guess.

I think you should read the testimony before making a snap decision..
Rubio can warmonger all he wants against Trump-but Tillerson's testimony seemed to ( mostly) satisfy that neocon

Prove that HILLARY WOULD HAVE COASTED TO VICTORY. Subjective BS conjecture, speculation and hyperbole. HILLARY WAS DEAD IN THE WATER LONG BEFORE late Oct. She said she would destroy blue color jobs in the energy sector, called anyone that did not agree with her deplorable. Just look in the mirror if you are looking for a reason for the loss. Her message. I am woman hear me roar. You owe me. Crown Me you stupid dolts. Its the first time in history that any political party ran someone that was still under active FBI investigation for a felony. What did you expect?

Who's fault was it that Mr. Comey released that report? His? Or HILLARY....the one that was actually under investigation for crimes? Its never the criminals fault right?

Prove that HILLARY WOULD HAVE COASTED TO VICTORY. I still fail to see just how you are any kind of lawyer...with all the subjective BS attempted to passed off as objective evidence, its a sure indication that you assume others to be stupid and uneducated.

I'm not any kind of lawyer.

But without a doubt, Comey's letter changed the dynamic. The entire last 11 days was basically about Hillary's email scandal. The polls clearly tightened from the time that letter came out, and she only needed 77,000 votes in 3 states.

Again...how did Comey change the dynamic? Explain....present the evidence that shows just how anyone had their mind changed in the last few days leading up to the election. The facts are documented.....the voters where polarized from mid summer to the day of the election....the press nor the opinion polls had a clue just how pissed the America Voters were with the silent majority being forgotten about. Just how many times were you warned on this board to pay no attention to the polls....as history dictates, if any incumbent party can't break 50% by mid summer.....the people will vote for CHANGE. That was months before Comey released anything. What....are we psychic? Of course not just students of history actual....history always wills out, if you don't learn and garner wisdom from the past you are doomed to fail again, and again and again, as its insane to expect different results with exactly the same formula.

And THE CLINTON MACHINE placed the explanation point on that fact when they refused to even campaign in the rural areas of the supposed blue wall states. The election was over before a single vote was cast. She campaigned only in places where they were patting her on the back and telling her she was the greatest thing since sliced bread....liberal strongholds like Philly, Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago, and the worst coast with California, Oregon, Washington state..places they had locked up since the primary....and of course the bigoted and biased press having tingling legs every time this moca colored marxist spoke.

Trump did not win anything.....the democrat failures to produce anything of substance for the working poor of this naiton lost everything.

If what you were suggesting were true....why did Trump drag so many anti-trump republicans along on his coattail to take control of every section of the federal government? If it was just Clinton...the Demwits would have and should have taken control of at least the senate...'if' they had any kind of message to campaign on except telling everyone they would be in effect a proxy vote for a Soetoro/Obama/Hussein (whatever the hell he's calling himself today) 3rd term. 8 years of Bull Shit cost you the election. The American Voters spoke loud and clear and gave the keys to the kingdom to the GOP for the next 4 years....everything, lot stock and barrel....up and down the political sphere, the white house, the senate, congress, scotus, and 3/4 of the state and local political demography.

It was a shut out. Plan and Simple. You want to blame someone? Look in the damn mirror. Your ideology was rejected from top to bottom. You have not won any political seats of power since Soetoro shoved the Affordable Care Act up the asses of an unwilling PEOPLE. It was a rejection...plain an simple. The only reason your party won the white house in 2012 was due to a weak rhino candidate and the illegal use of Government agencies like the IRS and the HOME LAND SECURITY in targeting GOP political fund raising groups and any press agent that disagreed with the dictator in charge.

The entire focus of the last 11 days changed. If you can't see that, I can't explain it to you.

Bush/Gore never would have been a close election without the story about Bush's DUI. These things are just obvious. There are huge #'s of people in elections that make their minds up in the last few days.

Yeah, you're taking a Watermark thread seriously.

this raises a problem......do we count each of Trump's cabinet picks as a separate victory over liberals or does he just get a single victory when the last of them is approved......I'm leaning toward each as a separate victory.......

then there was the decision to give the investigation to an agent who's wife received hundreds of thousands of dollars from Hillary......and the gross negligence/extremely careless call that tilted it in her favor to begin with......I say sure, investigate him.......

of course, many in the CIA, FBI, DoJ, and State Department are going to get canned anyway, so not sure if it matters.......
