looks like a bipartisan mix on both sides........things have already changed in Congress.......

It's funny that Republicans think we should repeal but replace in a way that does not damage people who have it now. Oh how compassionate! You mean those people who YOU DID NOT WANT to have it in the first place? 😀 Fucking idiots.

Why don't you want people to have health insurance. That's very rude.

this dissapoints me. The only reason US has high drug prices is so companies can recoup research costs in the US. Put up price controls so we can force them to share the costs worldwide.

Trump needs to step in.

its the other way round. We are subsidizing them by paying all research costs.

You missed my point. Yes Canada has price controls. And yes we have essentially been footing the bill for R&D but Canada also has strict formulary controls

This isn't as simple as just importing drugs from Canada. It is much more complex than that.

But it sounds good to the uninformed to say "just import from Canada"

Because Canada punishes their people with price controls doesn't mean we should punish our citizens.

How is that punishment? ACA included price controls on meds for Medicare patients.

For all the blather about repealing ACA, if memory serves I believe ACA kept it illegal to import Canadian meds., despite Obama's campaign promise to the contrary.
