Disgusted, not actually angry. PC? No, she was totally playing the PC Card. That's what made her come off as arrogant, elitist, puerile and therefor ridiculous.

I am enjoying Kellyanne Conway inviting Meryl to get involved with the outrageous torture of the disabled white youth at the hands of the four racist blacks. It would be nice to see Meryl use her stage for real abuses of the disabled. Maybe throw some of her and other Hollywooders millions to our inner cities. Put her cash where her giant mouth is for some real change.

But why does it matter. Actors make political speeches all the time .. because they have an audience. Obviously, you aren't in her audience.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood did it at the CMA's.

What's different?

There are 34 pages of republicans whining about Streep like babies.

I find it funny she won a lifetime award and got political. It would be like getting political at your Hall of Fame introduction in Canton. You don't find it funny. Fair enough.
