Yep, Obama is going to stay in DC while his youngest daughter finishes high school.

Dems - they are okay with this.

Trump's wife is going to stay in NY while their son finishes the school year.

Dems - are not okay with this.

Every inch further from me is good. I'm curious who he thinks will be paying his bills. And boy will flying coach be a bummer. He should go back to Indonesia and write some more auto biographies.

I think because we are required to pay for protection of the Trump's and because it will be costly to do so in NYC, that they should be required to live in the White House. Remaining in Trump Towers is a problem for security, it is an inconvience for NYC and those who live near Trump Towers.

I think Obama's staying in DC as a private citizen is fine.

Running for president one should be aware of the sacrifices that need to be made when you become president.

I respect you, but I have no doubt if Obama did the same, you would not have a problem with it.

For example, all the righties who complain about Obama and family vacations, trips etc., I'm pretty sure you are right there defending Obama.

If it really is about money, then you should be vocal about Obama's vacations and trips.

You seem to be suggesting that the Government won't be paying for protection for Obama, while he lives in a private residency in DC and that you have no problem with this; but then, he does have a "D" after his party designation!! :palm:
