Meryl Streep at Golden Globes

One person in all of Hollywood. Congrats.

Ever notice that whenever I prove your bullshit incorrect (which is fairly often)
You then find a way to invalidate it?
Why not just once say "You're right Dune"?
Would that be so fucking impossible?

Honestly, it drives me crazy when there is backlash against entertainers for talking politics - and that's on both sides. I thought the reaction to Stacey Dash when she came out for Romney was pathetic.

I'll never get why people feel so insecure about their own views that they simply don't want to hear anything that opposes their mindset. It's the same thing to me as people saying that we shouldn't talk about religion or politics in social settings. I love talking religion & politics, and I really love it when the people I'm talking to disagree w/ me. I don't want to exist in some kind of echo chamber. That's just sad.

LOL. You didn't disprove sh*t. There are few conservatives in Hollywood and they are afraid to openly discuss politics because of the repercussions. Saying Clinton Eastwood doesn't disprove what I said.

Because one generally doesn't turn into an award show such as the GG to hear political discussions.

But so what?

Their loss. If they want some scripted event where everyone spouts cliches, I don't care. I'd rather have something that gets talked about & inspires some discussion. And yeah - I'd be saying that if a conservative entertainer did some pro-Trump rant, too.

No, but as of late, ones knows that there is the possibility that some person receiving an award is going to make a statement.

Nice try.
Is that why Eastwood is a flop?

Or these two...

There are a lot more than you think.
Nice Freudian slip by the way.
Obsessed much?

Americans had that discussion for a year and a half. You lost.

Ok. I see so many conservatives making political statements at award shows.

And I have no idea what obsession you are referring to

I remember when Michael Moore made his anti-Bush speech at the Oscars, to some pretty lusty boos.

And really, that's about the only thing I remember from that show. Why would anyone want things to be less interesting?
