Then you get the handwringers here, teeming with hate and misery, yelling how the world will end under Trump and delighting in every possibility of his failure (i.e. the failure of America) and salivating over it in public.

I will not delight in Trump's failure. I'll just be surprised if he succeeds.

As for being "guides," they're just people expressing their opinions. That's it. You certainly don't have to listen.

It's the systematic dismantling and annihilation of a n y o n e who does not tow their political line and march in line with them. Please. Prominent conservative voices are just as dismissive and mocking of the left.

And if you listen to Streep's speech, it was more about decency. She was more focused on Trump's treatment of people, particularly how he went after the disabled reporter.

I literally was flipping through channels and I literally only saw like 2 seconds of the globes and it was streep saying the word "disappointed" and then I continued moving through channels and I said to myself "LOL I bet she is talking about clinton losing the election"

literally that's all I heard, that one word and I knew what she was talking about.
