hacking scandal continues more dirt will surface on our renowned president-elect. Grabbing pussies (his words), thief (stiffing contractors he hired), fake university (stole money from those who believed in him) and bankruptcy expert (Hey, I'm Donald Trump. I don't pay bills.) are just a few of his past monumental accomplishments. No other president-elect has ever brought this much baggage to an inauguration. What other dirt will arise in the next few months and years on him will only cement his legacy. How he got elected with no political experience will be debated forever. An election like this one will never happen again. Will America unite under this narcissist? No way. Prepare for a very rocky 4 years. One and done! That is IF he can handle it.
 
What does it say about the job being done in Washington D.C. that a man with no political experience could be elected? (not sure how much political experience you credit Ike with)

Not so sure his getting elected says as much about DC as it does the low level of understanding Americans have regarding the world around them. Usually a demogogue is successful because those that support him/her are looking for easy answers to difficult questions

What does that say about AMERICA?

Washington didn't elect him, Americans did .. more specifically, white Americans did.

The intelligence, or lack of it, of the white working class is what's on trial for the next 4 years.

What does it say about Washington in an election that produced the lowest voter turnout in 20 years?

Maybe they do have a high level and went with Trump over another dynasty.

Polls showed both candidates weren't well liked and I think, based on numerous statements, that people simply plugged their nose and voted.

You're one of the reasons so many blue collars went Trump, you're an elitist snob who thinks they are low level.

They were part of the diverse coalition that put Obama in office. Obama got the least percentage of white voters than any democrat since Mondale.

Trump's victory is due to one element alone, the so-called white working class. He belongs to you .. or more correctly, you belong to him.

I'm just stating an obvious truth so the 'credit' gets assessed right where it belongs.

That is an obvious truth. It most certainly says that.

But there is a much deeper question about those who elected him .. and obviously race is a factor.

You don't. But we have a zero sum game system where his opponents actions were not presidential either. So what do you recommend doing when the two candidates both exhibit non presidential behavior?

How many times do I have to say I didn't vote for Trump? Please justify voting for Hillary without bringing up Trump.

And we had tortorus months of this exact conversation before the election. Why are we continuing to have it after?
