But that in no way supports your claim that "made our intel gathering ability worse",

Did it really take a 'complex cyber attack' to breach an unsecured communications system within the DNC? Really? If it actually did take a complex cyber attack to hack into the DNC....then the United States of America has nothing to fear from Russia or any other nation as they have failed miserably to have any effect on this past election. Clinton was dead in the water from the time she called half the population of the United States 'deplorable'. Funny As Hell. :)

Did he cheat? Also The Intel community said there is nothing to prove the Russians effected the outcome.

Speaking for myself, I don't liken the U.S. Presidential election to a middle school student council election where the candidates offer you ice cream in exchange for your vote. I'm just hoping the country of my birth, the country I defended in uniform for a quarter of a century, is more secure and a better place to live the next time you jackasses decide you're tired of not getting free stuff, and you elect some obama/clinton/sanders monstrosity to tear it down again.

so they didn't keep the Russians from hacking the DNC, they didn't report it to anyone until after the election then raised an uproar....they announced the Russians were responsible without even examining the DNC's computers......they refused to appear in front of the committee charged with keeping an eye on them....they released teir report to NBC before they gave it to Trump.......and you think its Trump that damaged their credibility.......
