in the US election, the new right wing spin is that you can't definitively prove the Russian efforts had any effect, and that it's all just sour grapes by the Democrats.

So, in other words, the Wikileaks drip that the right wing media centered upon and hammered home for the last six months, and critized Democrats for ignoring the supposed seriousness of, was a wasted effort.

Asking for definitive proof is like requesting absolute confirmation that good weather helps attendance at scheduled outdoor events

I glanced at the report and didn't see the smoking gun evidence that implicated Putin. The Ukrainian malware could literally be used by anyone from anywhere.

You wouldn't see it if they painted it in giant red letters on a big white wall then chained you to a chair directly in front of it.

That is exactly how purposely obtuse and unwilling you are to see or acknowledge anything that would cast a shadow on the disaster for America that was the 2016 election result which you celebrate.

I find it interesting how the dems just want to focus on Russia hacking their emails, but refuse to acknowledge their corruption. Yes, it was very wrong for Russia to hack the emails, however, does that make the corruption okay?

Anything any person who voted for Trump finds interesting is presumed banal. But in this instance you make a good point. Russian corruption should not be ignored. I wonder what the quid pro quo was for Putin from Trump. The consideration is now a matter of record. I find it interesting republicans believe that was a freebee. But of course now that we know Republicans are traitors, why would they want to find out?

Corruption involves illegal and immoral activity.

What did the Dems do that broke any laws of the United States?

The report is very clear that the Russians did not hack nor change any votes. That is the claim the Democrats have been making. Did they try to influence voters? Yes. Did they actually have an effect on this election through hacking? Not at all.
