Biden to GOP: You want to repeal the ACA .. go ahead, I dare you

We will disagree on this one BAC. The way the cards have fallen this election cycle his political pull will not amount to much if any. The wealthy on this board ( and there must a be a few) can still buy political favors.

:0) I like you good brother .. but that's incredibly naive.

How many on this board can sway or even speak to the political direction of a political party?

How about nobody here can.

Biden will continue to be an integral party of the Democratic Party .. espcially with motivating the fierce opposition.

I like biden personally. He's a good dude. He also would have curbstomped trump if he ran. Democrats should have nominated him instead of crooked hillary.

A majority were against it as of April 2016. I can't find a more recent poll. Point is, it is very unpopular.

More delusional bubble thinking from CheapTalk (BAC's new name)

Stop being a clown.

According to a new CBS News/New York Times poll, for the first time in the poll’s history, more Americans approve than disapprove of the Affordable Care Act.

Approval of the law has risen by four points (47%) in the past month while disapproval has fallen by eight points (44%).

According to CBS News, “Most Republicans (72 percent) continue to oppose the law, while most Democrats (70 percent) support it. Independents are split. Still, few Americans (just 9 percent) think the health care law is working well and should be kept as it is, and 31 percent want the law repealed entirely. Most – 55 percent – think that there are some good things in the law though changes are needed to make it work better.”

.. and then, there is this ..

A majority of Americans are in favor of a federally funded healthcare system that provides insurance to all Americans, according to a new Gallup poll.

Some 58 percent of respondents support replacing ObamaCare with a universal healthcare system, while 37 percent oppose that plan.

I guess Rush didn't tell you that part .. and Heaven forbid if you could actually figure stuff out for yourself.

Biden/Bernie.. almost anyone could have beaten Trump. Trumps negatives were way up there-but so was hers.
Clinton was an awful person/awful nominee . I personally can't think of any redeeming features -but then again I loathe her.

Aren't those the same 'sources' who told you Killary would win in a landslide?

lmao

It's not a good idea to"repeal and replace" without a replacement ready..that seems obvious enough..
The Repubs are setting themselves up for a disaster if they can't cobble together a replacement. Playing with fire

Bernie had it right -Single pay is the only way to go,and then forget about insurance policies profitability.

The replacement is the free market. Case closed. End of story

Host Eric Bolling began the segment by tearing into Biden: “Mr. VP confirmed all of our suspicions. He’s a jackrabbit. He embarrassed himself. He embarrassed the office. He embarrassed the country. He lied about taxes. He lied about contraception. He lied about his voting record on wars. Most importantly he lied about what went on in Libya.”

“The scary fact is that this guy is one heartbeat away,” Bolling continued. “This condescending, smug, morally and intellectually bankrupt man is one heartbeat away from the presidency.”

Co-host Andrea Tantaros did not mince words either. She described Biden as looking “so cocky and so arrogant” during Thursday night’s debate. “Every woman has worked in an office with a Joe Biden,” she continued, “the guy that puts his finger in your face; the guy that dresses you down and knows more than you do: ‘Honey, go make some coffee.'”

“If he is going to behave that way in public with millions of people watching,” she added, “how does he behave in private?”

Dana Perino echoed Tantaros’ women-centric claim by joking: “Say you’re in your 60s, you’re thinking you would like to date again. If you want to know exactly how to turn off a woman, watch that debate last night and follow Biden.”

Brian Kilmeade added that he believes “Biden hurt himself” by coming off as “bullying and distracting.” He cited veteran journalist Tom Brokaw who, this morning, slammed the vice president for laughing during a serious conversation about nuclear war and Iran. “His content was good, demeanor was awful. He hurt himself with how he acted,” Kilmeade reiterated.

Tantaros chimed in that “this is the liberal stereotype: dress people down and be cocky and rude and arrogant –they think it’s funny.”

Why Paul Ryan Is So Desperate To Vote On Obamacare Repeal Quickly
A debate could expose enough about the consequences to scare off the public

Again....who cares what the Looser threatens? If he had that much political clot....would he have to be concerned about anything being subject to repeal? With the numbers the republicans have.....his ass will be located right where it belongs, in the back of the bus as elections have consequences. The people did not want this boondoggle to begin with....the demwits had to bribe the law into existence. :good4u: Go for it......stop the waste from being rescinded.

The GOP doesn't really have to repeal the entire law. All they really have to do to get on the good side of their voters is to shitcan the mandate and get rid of some of the ridiculous reporting regulations medical offices have been saddled with.

The GOP tried to get the democrats into tweek mode but they wanted the whole enchilada. And since they had a majority in congress we ended up with the unworkable monstrosity known as the ACA.

Now we're back to where we should have started to begin with.

How do you do it without the mandate?

I haven't heard any viable alternative.
