Dr. Sebastian L. Gorka is a national security professional specializing in irregular warfare, including counterinsurgency and counterterrorism. He is a full-time Professor of Strategy and Irregular Warfare and Vice President for National Security Support of the Institute of World Politics in Washington, DC and the Chairman of Threat Knowledge Group. Previously he served as the Major General Matthew C. Horner Distinguished Chair of Military Theory at the Marine Corps University. He is a founding member of the Council for Emerging National Security Affairs and has served as the Associate Dean for Congressional Affairs and Relations to the Special Operations Community at the National Defense University. Gorka is also currently affiliated with USSOCOM’s Joint Special Operations University, and is a regular instructor for the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School in Fort Bragg, as well as the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division. He has testified before Congress on the threat of ISIS and Global Jihadism and briefed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Intelligence Council, the National Counterterrorism Center and the Commandant of the Marine Corps. Born in the United Kingdom to Hungarian parents, Gorka became an American citizen in 2012.

Dr. Sebastian Gorka was born in the UK to parents who escaped Communism during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. He is an internationally recognized authority on issues of national security, irregular warfare, terrorism and democratization, having worked in government and the private and NGO sectors in Europe and the United States. A graduate of the University of London, and Corvinus University, Budapest, he was Kokkalis Fellow at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and holds a Ph.D. in political science.

Dr. Gorka has published in excess of 140 monographs, book chapters and articles, many for the JANES Group of the UK, and appears regularly in the national and international press, to include the BBC, CBS, FOX, CNN, REUTERS, BloombergTV, the Washington Post, EuroNews, Al Jazeera, Alhurra and Newsweek. Dr. Gorka advises and briefs at the highest levels to US Special Operations Command, US Army Special Operations Command, and NATO. He is a frequent guest lecturer at institutions such as the FBI, the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (Fort Bragg), is lead instructor for US Special Operations Command’s Combating Terrorism course, and recently briefed the National Intelligence Council (ODNI) and the CIA.

Dr. Gorka has advised the Office of the Secretary of Defense regarding the draft guidance for US Strategic Communications and was consulted by SOCOM during the drafting of the new Joint Operating Concept for Irregular Warfare. He is a founding member of the Council for Emerging National Security Affairs and was awarded the Joint Civilian Service Commendation by US Special Operations Command.

2011 saw the publication of Toward a Grand Strategy Against Terrorism by McGraw Hill, which he was a contributor and co‐editor for along with Dr. Chris Harmon and the late COL A. Nick Pratt, USMC.With David Kilcullen he co-authored a study of al Qaeda’s use of strategic communications for the Praeger title Influence Warfare.

This Dr Dorka guy should be talking about how Trump is the one being played like a fool by Putin, as is evidenced by his recent sucking up, rather than pissing his shorts to some Faux News bimbos about Obama's reaction.
 
Judging by his resume, he has well-served England and the U.S......the Marine Corps seems to think so. That's more than pajama boy in chief can claim.
