I've been right about pretty much everything. I knew Bush would be a disaster. I knew the Iraq War would be worse. I knew that the stimulus wouldn't wreck the economy & was what was needed.

And I called it when Comey came out w/ that letter - that Hillary would lose. When polls didn't shift as much as I thought, I changed that & said she'd still come out on top nationally - which she did, by 2% of the vote.

But there is some truth in your post. It certainly does look bad right now, no matter who is President.

I tend to be a more hopeful person, whether that's rational or not. I think we have had periods of history that certainly looked just as bleak - but then something came along to change everything. So who really knows what's around the corner.
