The U.S. government provided new details today that revealed how a state adversary broke into American computer systems and influenced the U.S. democratic process.

Those are just some of the retaliations. Losing 35 diplomats is essentially losing 35 spies. Yea...that hurts and it's probably a good bet more sanctions are coming and other's on the way.
But hey. I get it. Anything Obama does is wrong and couldn't possibly work cause we all know how much he hates America. Particularly white America. Particularly white Americans who don't have that fist clue about the world 2 miles down the road from them.

Just as Obama's sanctions 'did nothing'. Russia is broke. US now has many allies who are ready to impose more sanctions on Russia.

Russia's economic downturn really had nothing to do with any sanctions. It was the drop in oil prices. If they go back up, the Russian economy will be decent again.
