Yet the response to which you responded was one that directly addressed my use of the term. I look at these young faces (what...maybe 18 - 21?). This is sad and tragic. So, they were somewhere in the range of 10 - 13 years of age when the present administration took office.
These children have had their brains filled with mush during their high school years. Government schools have convinced them that the actual global climate, air, earth, water and elements as well as humans are destined for extinction before they are 40 years old because of a light bulb or a plastic bag. Most have had no substantial teaching of U.S. history...or even math. Just try giving one of these kids $10.00 for a $5.22 tab at McDonald's...wait for their register to compute the change...then hand them a quarter and watch the blank look come over their face about having to figure out the correct change that you now expect from them.
Most have been taught that they never lose...at anything. They've received prizes for simply participating. They have never experienced engaging in a debate using logic and reason with a live human being face to face. No one has explained how to be gracious and accepting whether as a winner or a loser, shaking hands and moving on.
About 95% of these kids have retreated into fantasy worlds where everything goes their way. Why? Because, they can emotionally shut down at the first sign of conflict with nameless, faceless entities in social media...just hit delete. The word 'friend' is erroneously used to describe these entities. They've been walking around the house, in the streets, school hallways and malls with heads down tapping away, "communicating". When they hear answers or rebuttals to their way of thinking, they simply shut down, turn off, tune out and withdraw into their emotional cocoons and pacify themselves by feeling that they've been bullied and they are the victim.
On the other hand, some withdraw to the point of severe depression, anxiety and anger incapable of normal social interaction. Parents never taught them how to effectively communicate with real live people on a daily basis. It's devastating for them to have to look a person in the eye, interact with manners, empathy or understanding. They don't know how to write a letter in a grammatically correct form when all they've known is incorrect spelling, codes and abbreviations for texting. Parents never paid attention to warning signs of their kid locking himself away in his room for hours on end playing games and talking with tech gadgets instead of engaging with real life. Some withdraw to the point of suicide or homicide.
So, their first presidential election experience comes along and BAM! Reality hits them for maybe the first time. There ARE actually winners and losers. And, we DON'T actually get what we always want. They never realized that for the last 50 or 60 years, the White House has pretty evenly swung back and forth between terms for Republicans and terms for Democrats...no one ever told them this basic fact of life. They're clueless at a proper response and behavior toward disappointment. They act out in fits of denial, tears, rage, violence. Their reaction is then reinforced by immature adults they see and hear in politics, news and fantasy land entertainers. They have no core so, they blow with the wind wherever their emotions take them.
The damage has already been done to this generation. Heaven help us when THEY reproduce.

Such massive rejection of an incoming president is unprecedented in American history.
In response to the rejection, Trump's cult followers here in this thread, who have spent 8 years attacking Obama and his family, are left defenseless with any claim of 'civility' or 'respect.'
So they're left to crying about it. Crying about what other Americans freely do with their time, money, and energy. Crying about the glaring show of disrespect from millions of Americans broadcast all over the world.
