the constitution provides for the electoral college. it may be time to revise it, but until then it is the law. also, we are a democratic republic not a democracy something that the dnc seems to have forgotten.
the dnc needs to pay less attention to polls and more attention to the electorate.

also remember and pay attention to the margin for error of polls.

it is his claim that he won by the biggest landslide ever and that he has a mandate (both claims are false, but that does not matter to him as he lives in his own reality. what scares me the most is that he believes his own lies. he does not listen to his intelligence advisers and as such has no clue what is happening in the world. he does not like to hear things that violate his personal reality. for him criticism is bad and praise is good.

if you read more of my posts you will find that i do not claim that he did not win, just that he has no mandate. when close to 3 mln more voters voted for the opposition and he calls that due to voter fraud, i think that he is living his own personal reality and that quite rightly should scare anyone.
his so called victory tour is just an excuse to have people stroke his ego. he loves the sound of his own voice and the sound of applause from his followers.
he is doing his best to insulate himself from any sort of criticism with his own private security force (he has turned down the services of the secret service).
as far as the election is concerned, he managed to connect with the angst of voters in the frost belt states which the dims did not and win enough electoral votes to win the election. unfortunately, his russian friend decided to help him win and the fbi chief helped him win. so what is his response to that information? to refuse to meet with the national security agencies representatives. bah, i could go on but it would just depress me.

Since Trump won a majority of the VOTES the CONSTITUTION says he must win, I'd say that's fair. When one does something in line with the way the rules say, it can't be anything but fair.
