16/12/22 Radio Report: President Elect Trump intends to increase the U.S. nuclear arsenal
Sadly, this is a scale of mindlessness that dwarfs the most fanciful fairytale.
The lone report did not disclose what President Elect Trump perceives the U.S. will gain; that we do not already possess in more than ample quality & quantity with our current nuclear triad.
Perhaps Trump thinks he can chisel enough "savings" from Boeing on the replacement AF-1's to pay for a new, post Cold War nuclear arms race with Russian bromance partner Vladypoot.
It took major diplomatic maneuvering to scale back the Cold War nuclear arsenal liabilities the superpowers had burdened themselves with.
Just what is it President Elect Trump hopes to accomplish this way?
$NOTE$:
Not to dismiss the initial $cost which depending on the scale of the build up could run into many $hunrdeds of $billions.
BUT !!
Then there are the maintenance costs. Once we buy they, we will have to pay to:
- store them
- train military specialists to fire them
- maintain them, and eventually
- safely destroy them (without creating a radioactive nightmare)
I don't have all the details.
but it appears President Elect Trump has skipped his first cog, and he's still nearly a month away from inauguration.
Stock your fallout shelters.
It won't help. But your few remaining days on Earth may at least be a little less worrisome.
