When did that great insult word "snowflake" for liberals come into common use?

I never heard it till maybe 6 months ago and now it's used all the time. Almost as good as "tree-hugger".

Well, it has been used for ages as a racist derogatory term against whites. I think the meltdown, the play doh, the safe zones, the diaper pins, etc.. have all contributed to it's rise in usage to describe frightened, peeing their pants, backboneless white libs.

Part of the reason I'm out of touch is I live in a concrete & steel tower in the forest.

It's on a hilltop. I've got a roof antenna. So I get dozens of digital TV stations, and countless FM radio stations.
It's so much TV I can't watch it all. So I have my DVRs watch it for me. It's there on my HDD when I want to see it; about 50 TB of it so far.

I moved here in Y2K. And so as you'd imagine I've drifted out of touch over the decades. This fast-paced world is passing me by. I couldn't POSSIBLY be more delighted.

And if you'll indulge me one more, thank you for joining us @JPP. We're glad to have you.
 
Snowflakes are college "children".....who have been indoctrinated and sheltered from the real world. The term was coined when it was noted that the majority of the paid protesters were college kids...:)

One can almost see your head bobbling around like an NFL bobble head when you typea with one finger at a time, thus the short one lines revelations of ignorance....its a typical trademark of your guild. You run on hate and emotion. You're easy....its the "tribal" mentality that gives you away, you always seek accolade from your tribe. :)

What point exactly is the above blather intended to make? I take it to be a word-for-word translation from the Mongolian, but I do not understand it.

While I don't live the off grid life like you, I am a big fan of the reality shows that depict those lifestyles.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm just here to have fun and hopefully learn something. :)
 
We had gym teacher in my high school who was a military type and he used to call people precious snowflakes. His other favorite was calling people a dingleberry. LOL it was very funny. This was the early eighties. This teacher was very much an example of the classic jock bully cliche.
