No matter how you frame it, as focusing here on Podesta for speaking his view, Russia interfered in the American election, and to say that it didn't have positive consequences for Trump would be denying that WikiLeaks had any effect at all in the election

I don't care who hands me true information, if it's actual true words coming out of somebody's mouth, I want to hear and/or see it. If Russia or Assange or DNC or Boy George or Mr. Ed release true info regarding a political candidate, it's probably going to have a positive effect for one and a negative effect on the other. The truth does that...it shines a light, it produces evidence and it usually wins. Granted it didn't win for the last 8 years, but it's got a shot now.
