Trump 'win' is the worst popular vote performance since 1876

even then the trend was happening. Bclinton 1000++ counties Obama1 800++ Obama2 600++ and Hclinton 400++
it was another "shellacking" (Obama- 2010) adding to the marginalization of identity politics. It was a refutation of federal over-each.
But mostly it was a repudiation of elitist politicians ( both parties) who are only in business for themselves

You're a perfect example of why the democrats don't even realize they're in trouble.

Demographics only matter as long as identity politics remains a viable political model. If Hispanics are working everything else is secondary. Even the abstract of 'white oppression' matters less to them [hard to believe, I know lol] than their jobs. Same holds for the other minorities.

There was only so much mileage to be gotten out it and it's exceeded its expiration date.

Granted, there will always be minorities who cling to it but republicans only need to make inroads into the black, Hispanic or etc communities to make a significant difference on the electoral map.

Trump is not a stupid buffoon. He knows EXACTLY what he's trying to with his black outreach. If he is only moderately successful, this will be trouble for democrats in the future.

But go ahead, continue to underestimate him. It's gotten you this far, so why give up on it lol.

More right-wing fairy tales.

Trump got 8% of the black vote, exactly as I said he would. The myth of black voters looking to the virtually all-white Republican Party remains just as stupid as it ever was.

Hispanics?

Study: Trump fared worse than Romney in Florida Hispanic vote

There is no question that demographics will play a HUGE role in shaping this nations future .. and whites like you know it. That's why this was Custer's Last Stand for many of them.

NO NON-WHITE DEMOGRAPHIC IN AMERICA SUPPORTS REPUBLICANS IN THE MAJORITY.

They detest republicans because they know what you are .. but you are indeed free to ignore all that.

Not really. As much as you guys crow about the rust belt, those states were essentially a tie, as was FL.

Trump picked up close to 900,000 votes in TX alone, and most of the rest in a handful of other states.
I'm not crowing about anything, just accepting reality. Easy for me... I haven't voted for a winner since '88.:)

They detest me because I'm white? Lovely, can identity politics please die?

Now would be fine.

The fake news I got from MSM told us that because of changing demographics GA and AZ were in play and hrc would win NC and FL. lol, why didn't they tell us anything about WI,MI, etc.?

"Identity politics" is such a lame buzz-term.

It ignores the real issues that millions in minority communities are experiencing in America, circa 2016.

This does not rate a mandate either!
voted-for-trump-if-you-think-thatsa-mandate-you-must-6442508.png

By that logic, if Hillary would have won, only 20.3 % Americans voted for her...mostly from one state, California......to you would that be a mandate ?

you are the one ( not you singularly -but you included) that made those claims of "Russian interference = "questioning legitimacy".
go back and read you own post. Better yet, retract that worthless statement.

Which is why I continue to call you out on that worthless meme. Emotional?? which side is having a massive mental breakdown searching desperately for just the right excuse for Trumps win? It's the Dems.

I gave you specific WH sources (DNI, WH NSC, CIA, Joint Chiefs) where Trump gets his intel - he's behind in accepting the fact the FBI and the CIA are now on the same page;
but his objection to that "the Russians did it" is sound and spot on.

You are conflating his denials on this specificity to "trump won't get his intel" as POTUS..he is not POTUS.
I am at least giving him an opportunity to screw up before i criticize him..you angry mind is jumping the shark.

ALL 17 intelligence agencies agree on Russian influence .. and Trump rejects the findings of ALL 17. You don't have a fucking clue what the Russians did or did not do.

I repaet, had this been Hillary Clinton you would be screaming bloody murder .. and you know it.

They detest me because I'm white? Lovely, can identity politics please die?

It hasn't died among your own group .. decidedly white and male. Trump was elected by white people virtually ALONE.

But you think it should die everywhere else because it doesn't suit your all-white party.

It won't, nor should it ever.

as I mentioned-the unity only came in the last 2 days..but the "Russian influence" = "illegitimate Trump" is purely a Democratic made meme.

I do not know what I would have said if Clinton would have won/ The thought going into the election was I would be eating crow.
But i also am a traditional American ( back when unity of purpose trumped hyper-partisanship) in that I would have both supported
her presidency, while criticizing certain aspects.

That's the difference here. Attempts to de-legitimize ( as opposed to rightly claiming he has no overwhelming mandate);
in un-American in practice..
Did the Republicans do the same (Obama)? Probably. but none of this is good for the country going into a presidency.
If you keep it up, then never mention Republican obstructionism efforts again. It's reprehensible.

When minorities start voting for their own economic interests instead of against the white boogie man, it will be the end of identity politics.
