Trump sides with Putin over the CIA.

.. and so Trump goes WHERE for intelligence?

He doesn't trust the American government .. so he goes where exactly?

the CIA acknowledged it had no evidence when it backed away from presenting it to the committee responsible for oversight......I expect we will have to wait until the American government intelligence gathering agencies start getting some intelligence......

He has zero government experience. He should be there learning the ropes every single day instead of making these stupid thank you tours.

trump wouldn't let a complete neophyte step in as head of his entire organization, yet he's doing this with our government and pretending it's no big thing.

Isn't that part of draining the swamp? That's what I mean when I say people are going to complain regardless. (again, that's not a defense of Trump)

Intelligence agencies ARE his government .. and I'm not talking about just the CIA and FBI.

Yes, 17 intelligence agencies really did say Russia was behind hacking

Had this been Hillary Clinton, YOU would be calling her a traitor.

If you can rationalize that .. the cult is strong in you.

"Clinton said "......you've got to be fucking kidding me.....why won't the CIA present the evidence to the committee responsible for supervising what they do?......

I don't think learning your new job is part of draining the swamp. trump's knowledge of government is cursory at best. He needs to devote more time to preparing. You and I and the rest of America deserve better than his half-a$$ed measures.

I can't imagine a president-elect appointing to the NSA a man who deliberately leaked classified info, for god's sake.

Nor can I imagine a president-elect even considering for SoS a man who deliberately leaked classified info to his mistress.

The lack of judgment is mind-boggling.

Petraeus called. He wants to remind you of Obama's appointment as US Commander in Afghanistan, before picking him to head the CIA.

As far as leaking info while SoS, why it cost her the election, dinit.

Yes I'm aware Petraeus was an Obama pick... back when Petraeus was pretending to be respectable and trustworthy while hiding his dirty little secret.

And if leaks from Hillary's server cost her the election, as many people and trump himself said, why would he even consider another leaker for a top position.... besides his rampant hypocrisy, that is.

traitor?? where do come off with this stuff??
It's never what they say it's what they do that counts, and Trump STILL isn't president.
It's common to argue about intelligence agencies findings. Th article is dated the 16th and Trump is in Florida.

Long run it doesn't matter who's right or wrong on the intelligence; what is IMPORTANT is how we react.
I do not want SHORT TERM HYSTERIA over what we long ago knew/suspected was Russian hacking-
even if Trump is still questioning that.

I am waiting to SEE WHAT HE DOES..I do not know HOW MANY MORE times this needs to be said.

If he can find ways to get along with Russia who the hell cares if Putin hacked commercial servers?
That's what matters .

Both the Podesta and DNC accounts were commercial servers, hell..i'd EXPECT a hacking given Russian actors capabilities
It didn't change the election one bit for all this Democratic meme of influencing the election..despite
this hair on fire hysteria over much ado abut nothing

he doesn't have a functioning staff. Only transitional. If I were him I'd SHUT UP and do more -but Trump is Trump-
he's elected on this.
After Jan 20th I'll be criticizing him for legitimate screw ups like anyone else, but not beforehand -it's not fair to judge yet.

You and others have said it's not fair to judge him yet but I'm not buying that line of thought.

It's true I despise trump's character and personality but I also do not agree with the platform he campaigned on, the people he's picked so far, his nepotism and the lack of transparency about his businesses. None of these things are going to change after January 20.

If he sticks tightly to his promises (which is hard to believe given how many he's walked back so far), he's going to dismantle the Obama legacy and I can't support that... especially the ACA.

If he does a 180 and his new administration takes on a more liberal slant, I may like the results but it will also confirm that he's not to be trusted about what he says.

I want to see knowledge, steadiness, reliability and coolness under pressure, and those words aren't in the trump lexicon.

This is a political board so I know this is what we discuss but the man hasn't even taken office yet. Usually that when the judging starts.

Is that what happened with Obama and Bush? I go way back in politics and the judging always starts before and continues long after.

Whiners gonna whine. Remember Clinton's reset? Remember her dismantling of Bush's missile protection agreement in Eastern Europe? Remember Obama's feckless leadership on Russia blowing a civilian airliner out of the sky? Obama fucking sucked as president. His onlly thing he's had to play is his liberal "I'm the first black president" card. Well liberal whiners, we could have picked a number of much better first black presidents. We could have picked o e that wasn't half white, like Alan Keyes. A man who is more than some theoretical Nimrod.

I'm sure cabinet picks were judged but I don't remember all the calls of "he's sold out his supporters" and all this stuff prior to taking office.
