Trump and Putin....The Hacking Scandal.

Seriously, this is over our heads. We could sit here all day and debate on this forum. Argue back and forth. However, this hacking scandal is something that you and I, both sides as Americans, should be concerned about. If the Russians can alter our election process what else are they capable of doing? Many great industries rely on "cyber means" to operate. What would happen if the Russians were able to shut them down thus affecting, perhaps, our economy?

We actually have the ways and means to do much more damage to Russia than they could to us, but doing so would only escalate a cyber war between us.

But as for the election business, all one need ask themselves is... why would the Kremlin want Donald Trump in office over Hillary so badly? Is it because he feels he could "work with" Trump?

Or is it because he feels he can much more easily manipulate Trump and a sycophantic GOP majority into getting better deals for Russia at the expense of America?

And why would the Russians feel that way to begin with? Is Trump in debt to them? Do they hold something over his head?

It's pretty difficult to believe that Putin would engage in all of this over mere personal animosity or some petty vendetta. Logically, it had to be because Putin was afraid of a Hillary Clinton Presidency because he knows she wouldn't have cut him any slack or let him get away with whatever weaselly shit he has planned now that he's gotten his obedient puppet installed in the WH with a GOP rubber stamp Congress.

To tell the truth, I am a little concerned about it. I'm concerned that an American president sent a team of his "organizers" to Israel to provide support for Netanyahu's opponent in the run-up to Israel's elections! And that was on the American taxpayer's dime. Not to change the subject, but do you precious little butthurt snowflakes really want to start calling THIS crap Trump's first "scandal"? LOL, weak

Thank you Brain. It's nice to see someone else understands the significance of Russia's cyber attack on our nation.

I think Russian reasons for their cyber attack is irrelevant. The fact that they did attack is what's relevant. How could we not retaliate in kind?

Thats a dangerous strawman argument. This is not Trumps first scandal. This was an attack by Russia on our nation. This was an attack on all Americans by Russia and should be viewed that way.

You're an idiot.

Therefore, all nations (including the U.S.) should be attacked for hacking each other over the years?

It wasn't the Russians.............
