What's wrong w/ protecting the environment?

And when Jay's motor needs to be rebuilt two six dollar bearings will be used alone.
How many parts will your motor need?

It's irrelevant how many parts, in the context of my argument. My Fiat motor has already run more miles than Jays will, and I'm sure by a yuugghhh factor.

Fracking has no effect on gasoline prices you fucking idiot.

Excuse me lol? What planet are you from? Ever hear of fracking shale oil?

Hydraulic fracking produces both petroleum and natural gas. Trying educating yourself before you go straight to attack mode and look like an idiot.

Listen fuckface.
You claimed it is a myth.
Prove your claim.
It is that simple.

Or you could expand your brain to include the absolute fact that peak oil is a question of when not if and nobody is claiming that we are at peak oil.
The truth is that we may remain in a peak oil plateau and not realise it for decades while it is happening. Peak oil will only be known to have commenced
once output continously declined.
Whoever told you it is a myth is a liar and a fool.

Has anyone ever told you you were full of shit lol.

If not, allow me to be the first.

Mott always go offline when confronted with this type of egregious behaviour by the EPA. It needs to have its wings clipped and forced to concentrate on its primary role, not start inventing new roles and responsibilities.

It's easy to go off line when you hear people speaking absurdities about something they have little to no experience with. I've been dealing with EPA on a professional basis for close to 30 years and just about any of my colleagues, regardless of if they are left, right or center politically, would tell you much the same as I am.

Yes. I'm so looking forward to the Ohio River catching fire again.
Look to Chicago. The Chicago river has caught fire so many times it used to be a regular source of entertainment before the predecessor of the Clean Water Act was enacted in the 1940's. The Cuyahoga only caught fire twice. LOL

Even an invention modeled on a computer must still be modeled in real life. Without a successful working model the invention can't be proven.
This is why large universities receive government funding and are routinely issued patents.
The importance of government investment in technology cannot be denied nor stopped nor slowed lest the entire world economy again falter.
not every manufactured product needs prototyping (modeling) -but every manufactured product does need production prototyping (molds, etc.).
FYI patents are only issued in individual names -but I get your point.

Come to think of it, the latest innovation that has energized the US economy has occurred in spite of government trying to discourage it: fracking.

Shale oil isn't even cost competive and relies on a high barrel price, halfwit.

Any new idea has to be modeled to prove it works. It doesn't exist otherwise; it is only theory. In science this is known as modeling, developing a prototype is similar but is manufacturing vernacular.

The point I am trying to make though is that while computers are definitely a great tool for inventors, backyarders still have the great disadvantage of not having the resources to physically model an idea

We are on the cusp of this idea timewise though. Even now work is progressing on 3-d printing with metal.
Very soon what you describe will be much more commonplace.

The greatest inovation ever, the World Wide Web, disputes all your lesser notions and anecdotes.

:rofl2:

Instead of relying on your liberal perspective where GovCo is your godhead, I'll defer to a better researched source: http://startupguide.com/world/greatest-innovators/

This lists: The 12 Greatest Innovators of All Time, The Greatest Innovators of the Last 30 Years, and The Up & Coming Gen Y Innovators. Funny I don't see GovCo anywhere there.

No one really knows when we run low on oil. Some say it will never run out; others say centuries; others say 50 years.

We use a lot of it, and there are more of us. There will be over 2 billion more of us by 2050. This is one area where waiting for "market forces" is a risky business, because our entire economy & infrastructure is built around fossil fuels. We can't transition everything in the course of a few years.
There is more than enough for the foreseeable future.

Back peddle much lol?

To finish your thought, OPEC is prevented from over-pricing crude oil because as soon as they do fracking comes on line.

Liberals and the Saudis hate fracking, go figure lol.

Not backpedaling retard.
Fracking for shale oil has not lowered the price plain and simple.
