I like fast food. Not ever going to deny it. But, I do enough damage to myself without fast food (beer, starchy food, etc.), so I only indulge occasionally.

This is me 3D...minus the beer. Never eat fast food unless we're traveling. As a result, I look forward to long drives across the county so I have an excuse to eat an occasional Big Mac.

On the "liberals" deal, they may tend to prefer more natural foods, be vegan, vegetarian, etc.

And they may be more likely to be the ones working in FF kitchens, in entry-level employment positions.

On the merits of fast food:

When traveling for example, it's convenient to be able to simply stop, buy a slice of pizza, inhale it, and keep going.
Some one of a kind Mom & Pop restaurants have superb cuisine.

BUT !!

For those in a hurry, it can be helpful to know that if you place an order at a national chain like McD's, you'll get the same thing in Peoria as you'll get in Walla Walla.
