Having failed to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president at the ballot box, with a swing state recount and with an attempt to rally faithless electors, progressives are now planning to simply “disrupt” his inauguration.
Michael Moore used Twitter to promote a protest, scheduled for January 20th and 21st in Washington D.C., to his more than 3 million followers. The group says it plans to “shut down the Inauguration ceremonies” and “paralyze the city itself.”.

We call on all people of good conscience to join in disrupting the ceremonies. If Trump is to be inaugurated at all, let it happen behind closed doors, showing the true face of the security state Trump will preside over. It must be made clear to the whole world that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support his presidency or consent to his rule…
