Trump was handed a lay up on the economy by Obama. Obamacare, draconian EPA regulations in the energy sector---we'll stop right there.
If Trump is successful in just those two areas, it will unleash jobs and economic growth like we haven't seen in over a decade. Deregulation of the fracking industry will result in many thousands of good paying blue collar jobs.
And these will largely occur in states that went for Trump in 2016. Politically, if the anti-Trump Rump thinks Trump will be one and done after four years, they're delusional. If he has success in those two areas there's no way democrats get the Blue Wall back.
Obamacare was a wet blanket thrown on the economy because it stifled jobs growth: it provided a disincentive for companies to hire full time employees.
On the economy, it's there for the taking.
