So when the Goberment gives the working poor Tax Rebates for income they have never earned...that don't effect the economy? Or are you looking through the utopia type rose colored lens of Keynesian Economics..i.e., Voodo economics where the goberment can spend it way out recession and debt?

FYI: lowering business taxes creates more jobs allowing more working people....who actually pay their fair share of the taxes unlike the voter base of the democrats who are "entitled" to wealth they never worked for or never earned....in the real world its called the redistribution of wealth. The economy can do very well void of having wealth redistributed to people who never contribute to the economy in the first place.

The only answer to fairness...at all levels regardless if you are a working stiff, a business, or a criminal drug dealer who never pays taxes on the billions earned through illegal activities....would be some type of FLAT taxes where everyone equally pays 10-15-20% of their gross earned income...regardless if it corporate wealth or blue collar wealth...everyone contributes and the tax coffers would runneth over. :) Just tax everyone when that money MOVES/spent...its like the wind anyway....its useless to everyone if its not moving...even the richest person on earth must spend money to earn more money....or stagnate and die.

If you want the rich and the criminals to pay their fair share....don't attempt to tax that wealth when it earned...tax it when it moves...the least little bit, every time you spend a dime.....Big Brother takes 20 points. Its simple and enforceable with ease...if you don't pay you don't the product or service. There will be no need for the IRS at all. And the best part? The Goberment will still have trillions of dollars to help the deserving poor, not the fake poor.

It's a story book! Just about any story teaches.
I think it teaches not about god, but about religion. Let us not forget, the latter may have little if anything to do with the former.

For example if god really was omniscient and omnipotent, then wouldn't he have:

a) known before he ripped out Adam's rib, how it would all turn out? Sodom & Gomorrah, the Noah thing, all of it?

b) If not, then why call him omniscient?

c) If he just had a bad day, and wanted a do-over, why not wipe out everything and everyone, and start over fresh? If god is omnipotent, that should be no problem.

So what does it teach us? That the god of the Holy Bible is either neither omniscient nor omnipotent; or amazingly lazy.

BUT !!

Lazy doesn't really explain it; because couldn't he just roll up the window in Heaven and forget about us all?

I think George Carlin nailed it. Humans made god in our own image and likeness.

My Biblical consultant, a J.W., explained that:

I've studied communication at the college level.

"Ye shall surely die" isn't quite as informative as -you will lose your immortality-.

Fact is, I've been looking into the god thing for half a century or more, and so far I have not found a single shred of evidence for it.

But one thing is certain.
With all the religions around, trying to make good on Pascal's Wager is at very most a risky crap-shoot.

By my math that means, hoping to secure everlasting life in paradise by genuflecting to the right god, with those odds means the risk of guessing the wrong god is over 99.8% you'll get it wrong.

Just stay in denial. All through the campaign Hillary ranted in a shit stained pant suit that Trump hated women, gays, Latinos, Jews, Muslims, and overweight beauty queens. He had a bad temperament. He was a Russian spy. He bankrupted contractors. He hadn’t paid taxes since the 1980s. His skin was orange and his hair fake. How did that work out for the left?
Millions of workers in the Rust Belt and across America are screaming "HELL YES" that jobs were saved and all the blind, ignorant Left Wing mouths can scream is negatives, more name calling and insults. Trump delivered and he isn't even President yet.
