You are the one that is encouraging a beggar mentality. You want them to do it from a factory building but it does not change the net effect much.

Our labor participation rate is down largely due to an aging population. You have failed to note that twice now and it's obvious you are just trying to misrepresent the data.

Economics are not changed based on who wins the White House. Hillary's failure has no impact at all on the validity of my arguments.

no :) see you cant just state that im going to move to mexico. You have to actually have plans to move there as carrier did. Sites staked out etc etc. Its very easy to verify especially for someone with the resources of a president that you are actually going to do it.

Next you have to deal with the public backlash as well and theres no guarantee you would be given the same deal Instead of the president asking the citizens to boycott your products.

Lastly I believe trump got this result giving away very little.

Lets assume for the sake of argument that fortune is 100% accurate. Trump gave out 700k in tax credits for this to stay.

700k in credits. So carrier would be paying x-700k. If they left what would they be paying indiana? Yup. 0. The employees would not be paying payroll tax or any other tax as well.

Do you not consider the deal to be one giant bribe? If you do/don't do X, I will give you Y is generally recognized as a bribe, but, let's just call it an incentive.

You didn't understand the stimulus. It wasn't designed to create careers.

We were in a freefall, courtesy of the previous Republican admin. It was supposed to get people working & turn things around - temporary was fine. And it did just that.

Back then, you guys were saying it would crash the market and ruin us. Instead, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Not my fault you had no idea what the intent was.
 
This whole Carrier deal is just like Blue Star in the "Wall Street" movie.
