Now are the Republicans, who were supposedly so concerned about Emails

being a potential security risk, going to spend any time or energy investigating the reality that an outside nation, Russia, the nation comservatives used to tell us was such a threat, was able to interfere in America's election process?

Or, since they might find something they don't want to admit, ignore the facts?

And please, no inane responses that some fat guy living in his mother's basement gave Wilileaks all that information

Rule#1 If you write an email and send it you may as well just published it on the front page of the newspaper. No such thing as secure email.
We hack the Russians just as well. Everybody hacks each other.
The outrage shouldn't be how Wiki Leaks got it but the butt fucking the DNC did on Bernie.
No I do not believe for one second there was any "remote manipulation" of our electoral process.
No fat guys in their mothers basement statements were made during this post.

Then given the three prior Secretary of States sent Emails, the concern should have been equaling applied, but that is besides the fact.

A foreign nation, one known to be antagonistic toward the US, directly involved itself in the American electoral process, which could ultimately jeopardize the foundation of any democracy, and you seem to excuse it by saying " we hack the Russians?"

And why be so concerned with the Democrats action rather than addressing what could be undermining the entire electoral process? It's like addressing an injury and ignoring what caused that injury

I excused absolutely nothing. I merley made a statement of fact. Being a TopSecret SpeCat Crypto Operator back in the day I can assure you there are secure methods to communicate and POP3 email aint one of them. I have yet to see a single shred of evidence (from anybody) that the Russians hacked/manipulated the voting process. Lots of crying and rumors but not one single shred of evidence to make me think otherwise.

So I guess then the umpteen security personnel and Gov't agencies that have come to that conclusion are just making it up? (I could offer that proof, but I'm sure you'd dismiss it as biased)

Or that Russia did the same in the Ukraine, and German security officials are now warning the same for German elections coming up is just coincidence?

Sure your not "seeing evidence" really isn't you just don't want to accept evidence?

And ultimately, getting back to my initial point, which your confirming, since this a contested concern that could jeopardize future elections and American democracy, shouldn't it be a top priority for the next Congress?

I'm not put together that way friend. I will look and read/comprehend anything you take the time to provide and appreciate your time and effort to share. Bet your ass I will.

yes. Wikileaks might be a Russian type NGO, but in no way was the "election hacked/manipulated"

Again...I have yet to see any evidence that the Russians hacked and changed the vote or manipulated it in anyway. Even that hair brain asking for the recount said all of her experts cannot find a single shred of any proof of it. Opinions, Conjecture yes. Proof....none.

First..., your 'given' is not a given....Rice did not use emails at all....her staff, on the other hand did....on gov. pc's and gov. servers...and not once was her communications questioned..
Powell, did use email, according to him, infrequently...again on a gov. pc and on gov. servers so the emails were generally available to the gov....
and what classified emails that were discovered, were not sent by Powell but were sent to him....and very low level.

Second...the gov. has regularly said that there is suspicion that Russia was hacking, absolutely no proof....even Pres. Obama has stated publicly that our elections were
not in danger of being manipulated....

Hacked Democrat emails proved that there was as conspiracy against Sanders....Proved!
Proved that there was questions given to Hillary for debates from CNN...more than once.
Hillarys server contained Secret and top secret communications...this server is said to have had less security than mail sent by gmail....
Hillary SENT and RECEIVED secret and top secret email personally....
Obama himself communicated with her using this server.
and there is plenty more....

Powell used an AOL account because he said the State Department system was inadequate, that was real secure, and he advised Clinton on the need to keep her Emails secret, next

The "absolutely no proof" part cracks me up, there was "absolutely no proof" that the overwhelming innuendos against Clinton were true but that didn't stop conservatives. And when those that work in National Security warn that Russia is involved, especially given that they already were found involved in the Ukrainian elections and are now thought to be doing the same in the upcoming German elections, it seems time to investigate, especially if one was really so concern about security leaks with Clinton's Emails

Truth be known, the GOP and Trump knew it was the Russians involved, common sense, but they certainly didn't want to say anything about it, Rubio was the only one who bought it up as a serious issue. Secondly, regardless of what occurred, it certainly seems hypocritical if those that were screaming security a month ago now just brush off even the mere hint that a foreign nation directly interfered with the US political system. Unless of course they fear what may be found

no......the idiots CLAIMING that umpteen security personnel and Gov't agencies have come to that conclusion, are just making it up........

The gov. probably likes people to use AOL if they want to email there wives or whatever about whats for dinner....

Nothing wrong with using AOL for personal emails....now if you've got some PROOF that he used AOL for work related classified material, thats different .... just spit out.

and the clincher, Clinton says he advised her ?....Powell denied that immediately....and Hillary is a proven liar, why would anyone believe anything from her.

If you have more than suspicion about it, maybe PROOF....we're all listening....post it.

Of course Russian hacking would be a serious issue...I'm sure they are always trying to get into US gov. servers ... no secret there....so what ?

Your President says the elections were not tampered with or hacked ....what else to you need....is Obama lying to you....

Maybe you need to refresh you memory and reread the Comey testimony....he was under OATH.....

General Powell did write former Secretary Clinton an email memo describing his use of his personal AOL email account for unclassified messages and how it vastly improved communications within the State Department. At the time there was no equivalent system within the Department. He used a secure State computer on his desk to manage classified information."

State Department inspector general report stated in May that Powell and other senior officials used personal email accounts for official business, but by 2009 the rules had been clarified that acting in such a manner had ben determined dangerous because of “significant security risks.”
recall Clinton signed off on handling classified data.
She blatently did not use ANY account but her own server ( Powell at least used the "high side" secure account at State.)
By using only her private server, and by not using even a firewall at times -she ensured her account would be hacked and classifed info would be exposed

Why do you bother with these tin hat conspiracy theorists?

It's Russia and racists and Comey and hacking and aliens. Everything but a failed Hillary Clinton

Maybe our demalquedacrat friends can explain why Putin didn't hack Trump to a popular vote win. Or maybe not?
