GM announces layoffs 2000 jobs in OH and MI one day AFTER the election

All I am reading is hearsay and soothsay, but no actual solutions to our First World problem of cheap labor.

Why shouldn't the federal government simply excise the difference between the market rate in Third World economies, and our own, First World economy and standard of living.

Markets don't work that way is the simple answer

Cant answer can you
If you read the evidence offered in the post I responded to, you'll note that:
They were both from Sept.
In an attempt to defend Trump's super secret plans, they showed that his tax cuts will make the economy worse.

Now, if this is all too much for you to understand, then perhaps we can discuss disposable diapers? Something you'll be investing thousands of dollars in over the next couple of years.

Let's see. So you can't respond to fact you forgot you wrote deficit spending is never good for the economy which completely disavows all Keynesian economic belief (not to mention how would you fight a war). Nor can argue what Dodd-Frank has done to prevent too big to fail going forward.

The attempted insults you've got down though

Why shouldn't the federal government simply excise the difference in wages between the market rate in Third World economies, and our own, First World economy and standard of living.

so you want the government to take away from the American worker, all wages in excess of the earnings of Third World workers?.......yes, you really ARE a liberal, aren't you.....

this is why no one takes the fantastical right wing seriously about economics or the law.

excising the difference in wages means we lose fewer jobs overseas, due to Only, cheap labor; so, the rich can get richer faster, by making the poor work harder for less.

and "excising the difference in wages" means raising taxes until American workers pay to the federal government all the money they earn over and above the amount earned by third world workers (which may be around what $500 a year?).......which is what I said......and you claim people shouldn't take Republicans seriously?........what do you suggest the federal government do with this tax equal to the wages earned by every US citizen over the sum of $500 a year?......and what do you propose US citizens should use to buy their groceries each week?......

excising the difference in wages means, US Firms won't be leaving for a fifty cent minimum wage in the Third World, since it should be excised to our current minimum wage in the US.

It is Your red herring and fantasy, why not explain how it would happen.

true....they won't be leaving the US.....they will be shutting their doors and closing down because nobody in the world will be able to buy their products, since everyone is living on $500 a year.......

if they can Only make cheap products from cheap labor, why not simply buy American, easily and conveniently, through excise taxes.

Made in America, cannot be cheap.
