It seems to me that many states especially in the South would do their utmost to get rid of those clinics given half a chance. I might point out that both Northern Ireland and Eire ban abortions for the most part. All that happens is the hapless women head over to the mainland and have an abortions in England, Wales or Scotland.

Looks to me that Colorado may have the answer. Teenagers and poor women are offered free intrauterine devices and implants that prevent pregnancies for several years, which has resulted in huge drops in both teen pregnancies and abortions. So why isn't this happening all over?

Birth control methods have been offered for free at Public Health Departments for years. Too many women have found they can profit more by having illegitimate kids. All they need are a few willing sperm donors and they're set for life.
