Voting records reveal that several stars of the Broadway musical Hamilton haven’t voted in past elections, despite having lectured Vice President-elect Mike Pence about how the Donald Trump administration’s policies might negatively affect their lives.

Brandon Victor Dixon, the 35-year-old actor who plays Aaron Burr, lectured Pence from the Broadway stage Friday night, expressing fear that the Trump administration “will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights.”

However, Dixon didn’t vote in 2012, according to the Daily Mail. Voting records for 2016 are not yet available.

Javier Munoz, the actor who plays Alexander Hamilton, hasn’t voted since the midterm elections in 2006.

Seth Stewart, who plays Thomas Jefferson in the 11-time Tony-winning musical, voted in 2008 but did not cast a vote in 2012. Okieriete Onaodowan, who plays James Madison, has been a registered voter since 2005 but has no record of voting.

The rant from Dixon prompted President-elect Trump to demand an apology from the cast and the popular Broadway show.

Dixon appeared on CBS This Morning on Monday and said he and the Hamilton cast had nothing to apologize for” after the incident. He added that both Trump and Pence are “welcome” to come backstage and have a conversation about the concerns the cast addressed in the now-viral rant.

People made way too big a deal about this. They didn't insult Pence. Their message was basically just to represent & protect all Americans.

Ooh.

Actors......for the most part, very self-absorbed with egos requiring constant feeding. They think that because they can play a role, they can become the role. That nutcase was so blind. He's up there "reminding" a VP elect that America is diverse. Right. We know that. Well, part of this diverse country's populace finally got some attention this time around...folks who actually play themselves and work for a living in the land of reality. Quite different from pretending to be other people in the land of the 'theatah' dahlings. LOL :)

"very self-absorbed with egos requiring constant feeding. They think that because they can play a role, they can become the role," couldn't have found a better description of the demogogue you just elected, thanks

Trump never played the role of POTUS...can't think of any prior POTUS who has either. They've all either come from the private business sector, other positions in government or the military or some combination of 2 or more of them. Ronald Reagan was a radio sportscaster, screen actor, in the Army and Governor.

Ah, Hamilton is one of the Founding Fathers, then again, conservatives were never that big on American History

And the play Hamilton, based upon that Founding Father, is currently a cultural phenomenon, guess they don't cover culture and the arts too much on Fox

Lastly, it enters your sphere because your man, who is suppose to be preparing to be President, took time to personally attack the play, an action you don't find too many American Presidents doing, for a reason I might add

If you need anymore education on current events I'd be glad to help you out

if New York and the rest of the NorthEast ever succeeded from the United States you'd be left with something that resembles Albania, ain't a lot of tourist anxious to see Kansas

ehh the content of the play doesnt really matter. The fact that its a high priced play in NY is enough.

my comment is not really a reflection on "ny libs" thier vote doesnt count for the same reason as a conservative in north dakota's doesnt count.

One thing I'll never get is why it's okay for the rest of the country to express derision & scorn for NY & the northeast, but it's just a big deal when it goes in reverse.

mostly because they are safe states. Same reason you can heap scorn on the south (safe republican) screw over the blacks (safe democrat) or evangelicals (safe republican)

Once you no longer have to compete for the vote of someone you can take them for granted.

hypocrites.

We can't be surprised can we? I doubt any of them actually know who Hamilton was or familiar with his writings other then the lines they are given to memorize.

It is rather funny that the smugly believe they can lecture a VP elect.

Good lord; are you living in a parallel universe? They stopped in the middle of a play to demagogue and lecture the man in public with a bunch of moronic leftist lies. That is insulting at best.

It's official; you're nothing more than a typical lying leftist idiot.

Yet you defend the smarmy, divisive, narcissistic, arrogant dipshit you elected the previous eight years. Try to eat your crow with a little dignity instead of removing any doubt what an ignorant hyper partisan hypocrite you really are.

Typical Fox News ad hom logical fallacy. So people who don't vote aren't entitled to an opinion? Does that include those who think both candidates sucked so bad that they stayed at home? Can't debate the persons position so you attack them personally?

Weak!
