Well I'm in Abilene not Midland. In my crowd it's more about your truck than a BMW or Mercedes. Granted a good truck can cost just as much as those cars.

Well I have the internet it's just most of my day is usually pretty full of responsibilities for either livestock and horses or for classroom obligations.

I'd be really anxious to find-out how many "Trump-fans" (because they wanted to avoid any-and-all hassles....or, had no self-respect, to start-with) actually voted for/will vote for Hillary.

Two groups come-to-mind; Republican wives....and, Conservative-Republican-voters who (simply) wanna see Trumpy SLAUGHTERED!!!!!​

I'm a little nervous that I may have voted for Trump since I wrote in McMullin for president but then chose the straight republican ticket box and so I'm not sure which vote overrides the other. I called and asked and was told that the individual vote should override the straight ticket box and so that's helped put my mind at ease but I hate having the doubt. I just don't want to have messed up my first vote.

Nahhhhhhhhhhhh.....I'm just jerkin'-you-around. Derek (the dude, in Austin) was originally from Midland....and, didn't much care for the kids, there; home o' Big Oil & Bushes. He & his Mother moved to Austin, after his parents got divorced.

I nearly worked, in Abilene, until the Dell-contract came-thru. My understanding was that West-Texas was a LOT like Colorado, where I was, previously; rolling-plains/limited-population. ​

I gather I'm being told not to exaggerate about the spoilt slob. A lot of my family died fighting Hitler, and Trump is incredibly more dangerous, even if he loses. If he wins, God help us all!

Oh Jesus good lord above no! I did violate my vow to never ever vote for anyone in congress who voted to support the immoral war in Iraq but it wasn't like I hell of a lot of choice. I can understand where a large segment of the population desires change but they aint gonna get it from playboy salesman making sales pitches he can't keep.

I did vote a split ticket though I heavily favored Democrats as currently I align with that party better that the GOP of which I was formerly a member off.
