You can hear, "He's got a gun!" in the background. Trump in Reno...

Jack Posobiec 🇺🇸 @JackPosobiec Hillary ran away from rain today. Trump is back on stage minutes after assassination attempt.
9:27 PM - 5 Nov 2016

This was retweeted by Trump’s Social Media Director, Dan Scavino, Jr. In other words within minutes of the incident, when information was vague at best and nobody really knew what had happened, the campaign’s first official response was to leverage a (supposed) grievous assault on the country’s democratic process to level a tawdry political attack.

About an hour after this, it became clear that there was no gun, and no assassination attempt. And yet the official word from the Trump campaign remains, per this erroneous tweet, that their candidate heroically survived an assassination attempt.

This level of disingenuous and deliberate misinformation is staggering. But apparently we’ve seen so much of it that it’s become normative and therefore uninteresting for the media to report on. Is it bizarre to be outraged by a campaign trying to capitalize on a non-existent assassination attempt? Could you imagine if the shoe were on the other foot and Hillary’s campaign tried to pull this shit? Would the media be so unimpressed as they apparently are in response to Trump’s casual relationship with reality, or would they be heaping scorn upon incredulity? ← (rhetorical question)

You're all so gullible. So terribly, terrible gullible. :(

Donald Trump was rushed off a stage here Saturday by Secret Service agents during a campaign speech after an incident in the crowd near the front of the stage. A Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement there was a commotion in the crowd and an "unidentified individual" shouted "gun," though no weapon was found after a "thorough search."

A man, who later identified himself to reporters as Austyn Crites, was then immediately detained and led out by a throng of police officers, Secret Service agents and SWAT officers armed with assault rifles to a side room. A law enforcement official later told CNN no charges were filed against Crites.

After he was released from custody, Crites told reporters the incident started off when he raised a "Republicans Against Trump" sign.

Crites said he was then assaulted by a group of people around him before anyone shouted anything about a gun. "All of a sudden, because they couldn't grab the sign, or whatever happened, bam, I get tackled by all these people who were just, like, kicking me and grabbing me in the crotch and just, just beating the crap out of me," Crites said, according to KTNV. "And somebody yells something about a gun, and so that's when things really got out of hand."

The Secret Service rushed Mr. Trump off the stage during a rally in Reno today.

If you listen you can hear people shouting, "He's got a gun!" several times before they came on stage and rushed him out.
I think the SS was confused. I think they were talking about Trumps big gun.

Dear MORON; shouting GUN in a crowded room is a terroristic threat. I don't expect half wits like you to comprehend the obvious.

Now run along; you have to shove that empty head back up Hitlery's buttocks. :rofl2:

Truth Deflector thinks the protester himself shouted "gun" even though all he was trying to do was to open a banner that said "republicans against Trump".
Yes, TD is that stupid.
