Roe v. Wade

When men have babies they should be allowed to prate about this issue. Till then, why not leave it to those concerned?

I'm a woman. Men are equally involved with the creation of a child. Men have an equally vested interest in the survival of their children. I'm sick of how many women over the last 40 years or so have beaten down, deboned their spines and wussified so many men into slave-like submission. I'm not biased. I believe males and females should equally share rights and responsibilities for the welfare of their family and children.

As I wish some people would grasp, Brexit hasn't happened yet, and won't until a lot of the people who forced it through are already dead.
Old Labour figures like Tony Benn and Michael Foot were vehemently against the Common Market unlike non-entities like Corbyn who just sat his hands during the referendum debates.

If the Supreme Court decides to give Parliament a vote then that will precipitate a General Election. I predict that Theresa May would get a majority in treble figures and Corbin will be consigned to the dustbin of history as a result.

A woman has her own body, her own life subject to her own life and death decisions affecting it or by harm from an aggressor. Of course a man does also.

The baby has its own body, its own life whose only instinctive goal is to survive without agressive intervention from the outside of its safe place in the womb where it was placed by God.

Humans seem to be the only species on earth who make a decision to kill their unborn young. The natural God-given instincts given to every living creature from its moment of conception is to protect itself and it's young.

"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well."
Psalm 139: 13-14

"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations."
Jeremiah 1:5

"The Bible is the word of God"
"How can you be sure it's the word of God?"
"Because the Bible tells us so"
"Why believe the Bible?
"The Bible is infallible"
"How do you know it's infallible?"

Well, you probably feel safe under all those black robes and head-scarves and such. Many men who can get away with it, out here in the merry world, have a 'vested interest' in more babies that they can well remember, but they don't have to carry or bear them, so where exactly is the equality?

I've never seen evidence of you assuming. You have a gift of brevity and getting straight to the point. A trait I've always needed to work on, LOL.
He is full of shit a lot of the time but now and again he comes up with a mot juste.

Interesting, how the pro choice argument is unscientific. If the law were based on scientific assumptions, then it's only fair that the male has a legal interest in the pregnancy, since it would not have occurred without him.

A buddy of mine had an unwanted pregnancy with his girlfriend. But they split up and she moved to another state and was going to have an abortion. He was absolutely devastated. He wanted the baby but was absolutely powerless to do anything about it.

How is that fair? It's clearly not.

They got back together and she had the baby and they lived happily ever after. But abortion laws are fundamentally unjust---not only for the baby involved but for fathers.
