Coalition of African American Pastors (CAAP). endorces Trump

"After witnessing 50 years of failure from the Democratic Party, compounded by a growing hostility to religion in their platform, I feel that it is definitely time that we give Mr. Trump that chance to prove he can be a great President," said Rev. Funny to see an old white hippy's patronizing attitude toward blacks who don't do what they want

In July 2012, the group traveled to Houston, Texas in protest of the NAACP's decision to endorse same-sex marriage.[3] Later the same year, they spoke out in opposition to Barack Obama for his support of same-sex marriage and issued a petition for traditional marriage which garnered over 4,000 signers.[4][5]
On June 6, 2013 they condemned the Supreme Court's decision striking down the Defense of Marriage Act.[6]
February 2014, the group proposed impeaching Eric Holder for his support of same-sex marriage.[7][8] Later the same year they announced the formation of RISE movement.[9]

Great is kind of a high expectation. They should have said "to prove he can be a nearly capable president." :cof1:

.....But, no-more-so than any other community....or, you'd been able to prove it.

Nice try, Goober.....

Los Angeles County -- the state's most populous -- is particularly interesting to look at. In LA County, Prop. 8 won a narrow majority of 50.1 percent. But, President Obama carried the county with a whopping 69 percent.
The discrepancy? African American voters, who were overwhelmingly in favor of banning same sex marriage (70 percent supported Proposition 8) even as they supported Obama even more heavily (94 percent). And, to a lesser degree, Hispanic voters followed that same trend -- backing Prop. 8 by a 53 percent to 47 percent margin while giving President Obama 74 percent.
