it's been way harder for sox fans. the difference between us and cubs is, we actually were good over our 86 year drought. We had numerous world series appearances and kept choking. that's way worse than just sucking and never having your hopes up.

that said I also wanted cubs to win, because of lester, lackey, ross and theo

Sox won like 5 years ago I'm south side but had to root for the Cubbies, the goat is fucking dead!

Same here. I'm a die hard Reds fan and I understand what the Cubs winning means.
