The Broken Narrative of the Dems on Police Brutality

Grind is in a pout and banned me from the thread about Erica Garner and the wikileaks emails.

This is one issue that really pisses me off with Hillary and Dems. They are trying to spin the police brutality into a call for more gun control. What is the logic? It seems to be the idea that if blacks and others had fewer guns then police brutality would decline, because the police would have less reason to fear the public.


It is blaming the victims. It's not much different than saying that we can best reduce rape by changing the behavior of it's usual victims, e.g., no short skirts for women.


If the gop wasn't running a racist pos who thinks the police need to more brutal, then they might cut into the dems support among minorities with this.

I care about the problem of police brutality and gun control does nothing to address it.

this argument comes from both sides in that their support for big government monopolies on violence necessarily requires it. the Dems believe that cops won't have to be afraid and go all trigger happy right away because they know their victims are unarmed and the Reps believe that their government enforcement agents will be safer from the people because they don't have guns.
