PR didn't comment on ObamaCare...you did.

You seem to think Republican shot themselves in the foot by claiming they could overturn Obamacare and then not following through.

I simply put forth an alternate theory as to why the voters are mad at Republicans.

Edit: To be near PR I'm speaking math here and what it takes to win a national election. I'm am not putting anyone down or any group down. It's electoral math.

In the heat of an election battle, both sides want their side to win. They can't really see the forest for the trees.

True conservatives should really want Trump to lose. He's an extraordinarily polarizing figure, and he has proven every step of the way that he will be a polarizing, divisive President. He'll lose Congress easily after the 1st mid-term. Better for the GOP in particular to have him be a footnote than someone who might redefine the party & marginalize it for a generation.

Some of that holds true for Democrats w/ a Hillary win - if she's President, the GOP stands to gain a lot in the next mid-term. But her one term won't have nearly the negative long-term impact for Democrats & liberals.
