What's need is a loosening up of the American econony to allow it to "roar" again. Excessive regulation that holds it back.....

Yeah.....that's what it's been.....excessive-regulations.....

Can't use your own words to express your thoughts? Please tell us how excessive regulation is not holding the economy down. Feel free to defend Frank Dodd and its affects on small business lending

And since I know how much you love Wall St you can thank the Clinton administration for bailing out Wall St vis a vis Mexico and really escalating wall st's risk taking ultimately culminating in the financial crisis

Whatta shame you weren't paying-attention to what was (actually) occurring......

So once again you have no words of your own and then when you bring up the '90's you start talking about events in the 2000's? You not aware what decade these events occur?

And the irony of you accusing someone else of not being aware when you have no clue what the bailout of Mexico meant for Wall St.

Stick to posting your cartoons on the other board. It's more your speed

That's a persuasive argument for voting against Trump.
The Clinton's are a team, and have been so since young.
Do you have persuasive information proving Hillary didn't help Bill while he was governor of Arkansas?
Do you have persuasive proof the younger President Bush didn't consult with the elder President Bush occasionally?
Do you have persuasive proof President Obama doesn't consult with Michelle occasionally?

Pro or con, good or bad, I retired at age 43, in 1997, in significant part due to the sustained prosperity of the Clinton administration.
Love him or hate him, who cares. At age 62 my income just tripled, as I'm now collecting both Social Security and pension. I'm not sure I should credit Obama for that. But things have gone well for me during the administration of those two particular U.S. presidents.

Governor Clinton was voted best State governor by a majority of his peers, governors of the other 49 States.
He was a fairly effective president. The moniker "Slick Willy" was given him by his political opponents, whom Bill Clinton bested time after time.

Let us all hope so! We would be quite lucky to have 8 more years of Clinton prosperity.
The economy does better under Democrats, it is backed by statistics. People don't pay attention.

Considering liberals on the board have called me racist, a free market ideologue, a Trumptard and a butt hurt partisan hack I don't think I'm in any danger of being on the board liberals Christmas card lists (if they even celebrate it).

As far as asking about policy like you've said before the only control we have is out voting. You said you have written in Calvin Coolidge several times for President which is 100% your right but is really no different than me not voting for Trump. You also haven't said where you live which is again your right but it doesn't tell us where you are in the voting order. Living in California everything nationally is decided by the time it gets to me. I have basically no say nationally.

As to what you list, Congress could propose and/or all that, nothing is stopping them to my knowledge. Prop 187 was passed by voters in California but shot down by the courts.

And no, I don't think illegal immigration is the only way to win Hispanic votes. For example look at how Bush campaigned for their votes compared to Trump and we see why there is such a large delta between support for the two.

If the only issue to determine whether one is a Republican or not is immigration the party is going to be very small going forward

You still don't provide specifics as to what will bring all of this latent hispanic love for the GOP over. I keep waiting and nobody can tell me

It's not rocket science, they're people like everyone else. The first thing we all want is respect. Calling them spics and wetbacks is of course going to turn people off. And Trump knew exactly what he was saying when he announced his run.

Hispanics are big into families and want economic growth. Two areas right in the Republican wheelhouse. Again, look at W. He didn't win the Hispanic vote but he got large percentages in both Texas and nationally.

And as many if not most illegal aliens in the U.S. are Central or South Americans, Trump vowing to deport all of them does not endear him to the countless registered voters either of Central American / South American descent, or those registered voters with compassionate attitude toward them.

The Republicans are handing this election victory to Hillary on a silver platter!
