Why are Muslims not held to the standard of the police??

Just watched an interesting John Oliver piece on the police and accountability. Although Oliver is usually fair on stuff like this, he got me thinking.

He said that the defense for bad cops. IE its just a few bad apples, doesn't hold up. Because a few bad apples spoils the whole bushel.

So why isn't this true with Muslims? Why does a few bad apples/actors NOT spoil all of them? Why is ok to spoil all of LE in America but not Islamic terrorists who want to kill ALL OF US???

Can a liberal answer this questioN?

You are full of shit!

He said the phrase is "a few bad apples spoil the whole barrel." He was not necessarily agreeing with it. He also noted that the argument that it is just a few bad apples "does not address the bad laws and policies that good officers are forced to enforce" then went on to talk about how those are a common topic of his show.

All Oliver was arguing against is using the "few bad apples" line as an excuse to ignore the systemic problems that drive police brutality. He was in no way suggesting that all cops are bad.

He said it spoils the whole bushel. Meaning a few bad ones, ruins it for everyone else. Why isn't that applied to muslims?
